Lead Application Developer
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Lead Application Developer to guide the design and development of modern applications across web, mobile, and in-store platforms. This role involves managing a cross-functional team, integrating AI-driven solutions, and ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing systems in a dynamic, customer-facing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead full-stack development of enterprise applications and APIs across cloud, mobile, and client platforms

  • Manage and mentor a distributed development team, both onshore and offshore

  • Spearhead the adoption of AI tools and practices to elevate development quality and efficiency

  • Implement secure coding standards and follow best practices aligned with the SDLC

  • Diagnose and resolve production issues, ensuring system performance and reliability

  • Collaborate with product owners, technical teams, and stakeholders to deliver business-aligned solutions

  • Continuously improve development processes, codebases, and application architecture

  • Support monitoring and alerting systems; participate in on-call rotations

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in application development using modern frameworks (C#, .NET)

  • Strong experience applying AI technologies within the software development lifecycle

  • Proficiency in relational database development (SQL)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience developing mobile applications (MAUI, Xamarin)

  • Familiarity with Agile, SDLC, and DevOps practices

  • Exposure to modern web and cloud technologies (Blazor, Azure, Web APIs, .NET Core, ASP.NET, MVC, HTML5, CSS, T-SQL)

  • Background in consumer or retail-facing industries is a plus

Direct hire, full-time employment. No vendors or sponsorships. 

Hybrid (3 days/week on-site)

Additional Notes:
  • C# Development; Blazor front-end
  • End-to-end development (with an emphasis on middle and back-end)
  • Complex assignments; software design and architecture (in addition to building code)
  • Small, 4-person team; often doing own QA
