Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Automation Tester to design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks and test solutions. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in modern automation tools, frameworks, and Agile methodologies.
You will play a key role in architecting next-generation automation solutions and supporting end-to-end testing strategies across enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement automation frameworks using best engineering practices
- Develop and execute automated test scripts for functional and regression testing
- Build and maintain Selenium-based automation frameworks and grids
- Create BDD/TDD-based automation using tools like Cucumber and Gherkin
- Execute test suites and document defects clearly
- Support CI/CD pipelines and integrate automation into build processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams in sprint ceremonies
- Perform API testing using REST-based tools and frameworks
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 7+ years of experience in automation testing using Java or Java-based frameworks
- 5+ years of experience with Selenium for UI automation
- 5+ years of experience with Cucumber and Gherkin (BDD frameworks)
- Strong understanding of BDD and TDD methodologies
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Selenium, Selenium Grid, JUnit/TestNG
- Experience with REST API testing (e.g., REST Assured)
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban)
- Must be eligible to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
Preferred Skills
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git
- Experience with modern automation tools (Cypress, Playwright, etc.)
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Docker)
- Exposure to AI-driven or self-healing automation frameworks
- Experience with containerized test execution
