Your opportunity
This is a 10-week summer internship program from June 1st to August 7th, 2026, focusing on first-hand experience in the team and discovering what your future would be like with us through induction, on the job learning, skills trainings and networking.
As an intern, you'll support our Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Identity and Access Governance (IAG) teams. These teams help keep our company's computer systems and information safe by making sure only the right people have access to our applications and data.
- Learn and assist with provisioning and deprovisioning user access to systems and applications.
- Participate in conducting user access certifications to ensure appropriate permissions.
- Observe and experience an IT audit walkthrough, including preparation and review of access documentation.
- Attend training sessions and shadow IDSec staff to understand security protocols and procedures.
- Support the team in documenting access changes and preparing reports for compliance purposes.
- Explore opportunities to apply AI and automation tools to streamline routine tasks, such as automating access review processes or report generation. If time allows, take initiative to propose or develop small automation solutions for tasks identified during the internship.

Must have skills
- A college sophomore or junior pursuing a degree in one of the following: Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity or Engineering
- Interest in information technology or cybersecurity.
- Willingness to learn and follow security guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
- Candidates must be enrolled as a full time student at the time of the internship
- Familiarity with current browsers (IE, Firefox, Chrome)
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite
Nice to have skills
- Any information security specific certification
- Basic knowledge of a programming language
- Basic knowledge of Information Security documentation and reporting
- Knowledge of wide area network security and user access concepts including active directory, azure, exchange, switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, encryption, and authentication methods.

Compensation information
The hourly rate for this position is $25.00. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different. Candidates are responsible for their own housing and travel expenses. This role will remain open through February 11th, 2026.
