Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Integration Architect to design, develop, and oversee scalable integration and data solutions within the healthcare domain. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with SQL Server, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Power BI, Snowflake, Prefect, ServiceNow, Git, and Azure DevOps (ADO), along with a strong understanding of Home Health and post-acute care business processes.
The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, data teams, and healthcare application teams to define integration strategies, architecture standards, and cloud-native data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement end-to-end healthcare integration architectures supporting clinical, operational, and business data flows.
Lead technical architecture and solution design for data integration, ETL/ELT, orchestration, data warehousing, and analytics initiatives.
Develop and maintain integration pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF), Prefect, SQL Server, and Snowflake.
Design scalable Azure cloud-native architectures aligned with security, performance, reliability, and enterprise architecture standards.
Define and implement healthcare interoperability solutions using HL7, FHIR, APIs, ETL pipelines, and other healthcare integration patterns.
Collaborate with healthcare application teams and business stakeholders to integrate EMR and clinical systems, with Homecare Homebase (HCHB) experience preferred.
Translate complex healthcare business requirements into technical architecture, integration specifications, and implementation roadmaps.
Support data visualization and analytics initiatives using Power BI and enterprise data platforms.
Establish and enforce DevOps, CI/CD, source control, and deployment practices using Git and Azure DevOps (ADO).
Work with ServiceNow for IT service management, incident/change processes, and integration-related workflows.
Identify integration risks, performance bottlenecks, data-quality issues, and architectural gaps, and recommend appropriate solutions.
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to development and engineering teams.
Participate in Agile/SAFe ceremonies, architecture reviews, sprint planning, and technical design discussions.
Healthcare Domain Requirements
Strong understanding of Home Health business processes and post-acute care operations.
Experience with healthcare workflows including:
Patient eligibility and enrollment
Insurance and authorization workflows
Clinical documentation and care coordination
Home health operations
EMR integrations
Claims and healthcare data flows
Post-acute care coordination
Experience working with HCHB (Homecare Homebase) is highly preferred.
Understanding of healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7 and FHIR.
Required Technical Skills
10+ years of overall IT experience.
3+ years of experience working as a Technical Architect, Solution Architect, or Integration Architect.

Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT, data integration, data warehousing, and orchestration patterns.
Experience designing and implementing cloud-native solutions, preferably on Microsoft Azure.
Understanding of APIs, microservices, integration patterns, and healthcare data exchange.
Strong knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Homecare Homebase (HCHB) or similar Home Health EMR platforms.
Experience with HL7/FHIR-based healthcare integrations.
Experience designing enterprise-scale Snowflake data architectures.
Experience with Azure services beyond ADF, such as Azure Functions, Azure Storage, Key Vault, API Management, or related services.
Experience with Agile/Scrum and SAFe methodologies.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field preferred.
Equivalent professional experience may be considered.
