Data Reporting Analyst

Description

We are looking for a skilled Data Reporting Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract basis in The Woodlands, Texas. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in data analysis and business intelligence to deliver actionable insights and support organizational decision-making. This position offers an opportunity to work with advanced tools and technologies to analyze, interpret, and present data effectively.

Responsibilities:
Create and manage data reports using BusinessObjects technologies to support business needs.
Analyze complex datasets and extract meaningful insights to aid in strategic decision-making.
Develop and maintain SQL queries to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver customized solutions.
Utilize business intelligence tools to visualize data and present findings in a clear and impactful manner.
Ensure data models are structured efficiently and support reporting needs using tools like Erwin Data.
Monitor and troubleshoot data reporting processes to maintain performance and accuracy.
Provide recommendations to improve data reporting workflows and system efficiencies.
Document processes and procedures to ensure clarity and consistency across projects.
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in data reporting and analysis technologies.

Requirements

Proficiency in Microsoft SQL for data querying and management.
Hands-on experience with BusinessObjects technologies.
Strong analytical skills with a focus on interpreting and visualizing data.
Familiarity with business intelligence tools and practices.
Knowledge of data modeling concepts, including experience with Erwin Data.
Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Proven track record of developing and maintaining accurate reporting systems.
Experience in troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues.
