We are looking for a highly motivated Software Performance Engineer to\\nlead optimization of software design for Apple's latest products, including the next\\ngeneration of iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, AirPods, Mac, and more.
As a key member of the Connectivity Firmware Performance team, you will work on\nsoftware design, testing, and optimization from early prototypes through\nproductization. Your work will involve devising performance evaluation methodologies\non SW/HW prototypes, analyzing logs, and making data-driven recommendations for\nsoftware design based on trade-off analysis at the system and product level.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience\nDeep expertise in WiFi or Bluetooth protocols and Multi-radio Coexistence solution\nExperience leading or technically mentoring engineers on complex, cross-functional projects\nStrong background in RF, digital signal processing, and wireless communications\nProficiency in Python, including hands-on use of data science libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib) for large-scale data manipulation, analysis, and visualization
Hands-on experience with power and performance trade-off analysis in wireless systems\nBroad understanding of wireless system architecture across multiple stack layers\nResearch or industry experience applying AI/ML techniques to wireless communication problems\nFlexible problem-solver with the ability to adapt strategies and deliver practical solutions in ambiguous environments\nStrong prioritization and results-driven mindset, with a genuine curiosity to continuously learn and improve processes\nMS or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field strongly preferred
