Infinite Solutions Inc. is looking for a qualified individual to fill the role of a EDL/EDX Developer with PL/1, Assembler experience is a plus.

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain EDX/EDL (Electronic Data Exchange / Extract-Load) programs to support enterprise data movement, system integration, and batch processing workflows.

  • Work with business analysts and technical teams to gather requirements, define data flows, and translate business needs into efficient EDX/EDL solutions.

  • Build and optimize data extraction, transformation, and loading routines across distributed and mainframe environments.

  • Utilize PL/1 and Assembler for legacy system integrations, performance enhancement, and modernization of existing batch processes.

  • Create and maintain detailed technical specifications, mapping documents, and interface documentation for all EDX/EDL jobs.

  • Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve production issues related to EDX/EDL processes, data inconsistencies, and job failures.

  • Monitor scheduled batch cycles, file transfers, and job dependencies to ensure on-time and accurate data delivery.

  • Implement data validations, reconciliation logic, and audit controls to maintain data quality and integrity.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mainframe, middleware, and application developers, to support end-to-end integration.

  • Follow enterprise change control and deployment processes for all code migrations and releases.

  • Ensure compliance with IT security, data governance, and regulatory guidelines.

  • Support test planning, unit testing, system testing, and UAT activities for enhancements and new integrations.

  • Provide recommendations for performance tuning, process automation, and modernization of legacy EDX/EDL components.
