Overview



We are seeking an experienced Data Migration Lead with a robust technical background and strong functional expertise in Oracle Cloud Financials, particularly in Project Portfolio Management (PPM). This role requires a collaborative approach, with a focus on project management skills and the ability to work independently. As a Data Migration Lead, you will manage the data migration process from legacy systems to Oracle Cloud, ensuring data quality and seamless integration.



Key Responsibilities



Data Migration Management: Lead the migration of data from legacy systems to Oracle Cloud Financials, ensuring accuracy and completeness throughout the process.

Technical Leadership: Oversee and manage technical teams responsible for source/legacy systems, coordinating with Oracle s technical team for smooth data loading into the Oracle Cloud environment.

Implementation Experience: Participate in at least one full cycle implementation of Oracle Cloud Financials, contributing to configuration (BR100), system integration, and user acceptance testing (SIT and UAT).

Data Validation and Quality Improvement: Validate business data to improve quality and ensure compliance with financial standards, applying techniques for data cleaning and transformation.

Process Oversight: Manage processes related to BP040 and BP080, ensuring adherence to best practices in data migration for suppliers, customers, fixed assets, open accounts payable/receivable transactions, and general ledger balances.

Tool Utilization: Leverage tools such as OTBI, FBDI, OTL, SQL, Excel, CSV, and TextPad Plus for effective data manipulation and reporting.

Functional Areas Expertise: Provide functional expertise in key financial areas, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), Tax, Project Portfolio Management (PPM), Fixed Assets (FA), and Cash Management (CM).

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and alignment with business objectives, demonstrating strong collaborative skills.

Project Management: Exhibit strong project management capabilities to oversee timelines, deliverables, and team coordination, while remaining self-sufficient and proactive in problem-solving.
