Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Board Bring-Up Support Engineer to support the testing, validation, and debugging of FPGA- and CPU-based hardware systems. This role involves close collaboration with hardware design, firmware, and system teams to ensure successful board bring-up and system functionality.

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in board bring-up, hardware debugging, functional validation, and manufacturing support
• Strong experience using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and soldering tools
• Expertise in one or more of the following:
  • High-speed interfaces (PCIe, USB, Ethernet, high-speed serial)
  • Low-speed interfaces (UART, SPI, I2C, JTAG)
  • Power system design and validation
• Experience in defining system-level specifications and executing test plans
• Proficiency with schematic and layout tools such as OrCAD or Allegro
• Understanding of signal integrity (SI) and thermal considerations
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Open Compute Project (OCP) standards
• Knowledge of x86 system architecture
• Experience with Linux kernel or driver-level development
• Programming/scripting experience in C, C++, Python, TCL, or Verilog
• Experience working with Xilinx FPGAs and related tools

Education

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics, or related field
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant hardware design and bring-up experience
