Our Civil team seeks a Civil Technician to assist in various civil engineering projects, provide technical support and expertise. We need someone who is passionate and motivated about their work. We need someone who knows how to work with people and push the envelope. In short, we are a dynamic A&E Firm with excellent people doing excellent work, and we\'re looking for someone excellent to join our team.
WHAT YOU'LL DO...
As a member of the Civil Team, the day-to-day responsibilities of Civil Technician will:
? Assist in preparation of detailed drawings, plans, and specifications using CAD software
? Assist in the preparation of project reports, documentation, and presentations
? Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other team members to ensure project objectives
are met on time and within budget
? Be responsible for work on multiple projects at one time
? Respond promptly to inquiries from other disciplines on assigned projects
? Attend meetings for civil team, and project teams
? Attend bi-weekly training and team meetings
? Attend construction site observations
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
? Associate degree or equivalent technical certification in Civil Engineering Technology or related field
? Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software for drafting and design
? Strong technical skills and understanding of civil engineering principles and practices
? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
environment
? Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
? Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
? Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and software applications
