Role Overview
We are seeking a Technical Product Manager to serve as the primary product liaison to stakeholders. This role involves managing ongoing communication across multiple initiatives, navigating complex conversations to reconcile priorities, and ensuring alignment between product strategy and execution. The successful candidate will own the product roadmap and backlog, drive requirements refinement, and collaborate with engineering teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary product liaison, managing communication with stakeholders across concurrent priorities.
- Own the product roadmap and backlog for assigned products, translating high-level epics into executable user stories.
- Lead quarterly planning cycles in collaboration with stakeholders and engineering leadership.
- Partner with technical delivery leads to align scope, conduct release planning, and track execution progress.
- Develop a strong working knowledge of cloud-native systems running in AWS to evaluate request feasibility and identify risks.
- Negotiate release scope with stakeholders, ensuring realistic commitments aligned with engineering capacity.
- Drive requirements refinement by defining specificity, edge cases, non-functional requirements, and acceptance criteria.
- Ensure internal documentation is complete and accurate before code transfer to reduce post-transfer defect cycles.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 4+ years as a Technical Product Manager, Technical Project Manager, or Business Analyst in a software or SaaS environment. Experience managing complex stakeholder relationships, particularly in matrixed or global organizations, is required.
Technical Skills: AWS platform experience (Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, Kinesis or equivalent) is necessary. Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, SQL, and diagramming tools such as Lucidchart or Visio is also required. A strong understanding of cloud-native architectures and SaaS delivery models is expected.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay rate for this position is between $60.00 and $70.00 per hour. Specific compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications. A benefits package is available to eligible employees.
