Description VMO Analyst is responsible for developing and maintaining data-driven insights that support procurement, supplier management, and business decision-making. This role analyzes spend, savings, supplier performance, and workforce utilization while identifying data discrepancies, process improvements, and automation opportunities. Working closely with procurement, finance, operations, and supplier partners, the analyst transforms complex data into actionable dashboards and reports that improve visibility, reduce manual effort, and support strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain procurement dashboards and reports using Excel, Power BI, and DBeaver.
- Create spend analysis, forecasting, and savings dashboards to support procurement strategy and executive reporting.
- Produce and maintain KPI reporting, including:
- Contractor headcount metrics
- Procurement spend
- Resource utilization and supplier performance
Extract and analyze data from enterprise systems including SAP, SAP Ariba, and databases using DBeaver. Investigate supplier data to identify potential fraud, anomalies, and compliance risks. Compare financial and procurement data across multiple systems to identify discrepancies, variances, and data quality issues. Validate team reporting and investigate inconsistencies to ensure data accuracy. Develop standardized documentation, reporting processes, and best practices to improve consistency across the organization. Design and implement workflow automations using Microsoft Power Automate to eliminate manual tasks and improve operational efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, define reporting needs, and ensure data integrity. Build relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support procurement initiatives and performance management. Technical Skills
