Lockheed Martin is seeking a Systems Administrator to develop, integrate, and operate DIADS and associated capabilities as a member of the Modeling, Simulation, and Training team at the Joint Integrated Test and Training Center - Nellis (JITTC-N), Nellis Air Force Base (AFB), NV. The individual's primary responsibility is to integrate DIADS within the Joint Sustainment Environment (JSE) to facilitate accurate representation and operation of threat surface-to-air missiles (SAMs) and Integrated Air Defense Systems (IADS) in the modeling and simulation environment. Duties require communication and coordination with the Mission Director, Control Room Coordinator, and White Force Coordinator during operations, as well as the ability to perform regression analysis and develop and execute test plans to ensure interoperability of DIADS within the JSE enclave.

Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Integrating DIADS version types to provide consistent and realistic representations of surface-to-air missiles (SAMs) and Integrated Air Defense Systems (IADS).
Install current and update versions of DIADS on various operating platforms (i.e., Windows, Linux, Red Hat, web-based).
Orchestrate and operate constructive representations of red forces for test and training missions.
Create DIADS scenarios for training and test audiences.
Coordinate between DIADS and NGTS, as well as other JSE components, for successful entity handoff and interactions within the JSE enclave.
Report issues related to simulation software applications and providing advanced troubleshooting support.

Basic Qualifications

A current active Top Secret Level Clearance with an investigation completed within the last 5 years is required.
Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Top Secret/SCI and relevant SAP/SAR Clearance.
Security + Certification.
Bachelor's Degree in related field OR High School Diploma OR equivalent experience/combined education.
Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Fundamental understanding of military surface to air missile systems.
Understanding of Air Force terminology to implement/emulate realistic red forces for test and training.
Ability to perform tasks that require prolonged computer use, occasional lifting and movement of equipment, and fine motor skills with hand-eye coordination.

Desired skills

Previous or active DoD Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
Advanced understanding of military surface to air missile systems.
Experience with Digital Integrated Air Defense System (DIADS) Software.
Military experience with aviation and combat systems.
Advanced aircraft simulator experience and scenario development.
Experience with Joint Simulation Environment (JSE) and familiarity with its software components (NGTS, WSCE, DIADS, EAAGLES, GRID, Shot Log, ART, and SCE).

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $81,600 - $143,865. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Premium Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $93,800 - $162,610. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
