What you will do:
\n
As an Electrical Engineer Sustaining, you ll focus on maintaining and enhancing existing fire detection hardware including control panels, detectors, and notification devices. Your work will help ensure long-term product reliability, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
\n

Analyze and resolve hardware issues in existing products
\n - \n
Collaborate with global engineering, customer support, and compliance teams
\n - \n
Implement design improvements and cost optimizations
\n - \n
Support product lifecycle activities, including component obsolescence and redesigns
\n - \n
Maintain documentation and ensure alignment with regulatory standards
\n
\n
\n
What You will bring:

Required Skills

Degree in Electrical Engineering
\n - \n
3+ years experience in embedded hardware design and troubleshooting

Strong communication and organizational skills
\n - \n
Proficiency with debugging tools (oscilloscope, logic analyzer)

\n
Preferred Skills

Experience with low-power analog circuit design
\n - \n
Knowledge of AC/DC and DC/DC converters

Familiarity with microcontrollers and embedded systems

SALARY RANGE: $94,000 - $125,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
