Job Description:

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer with 10+ years of experience in software testing and strong hands-on expertise in Karate DSL. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks for API and web applications.

Must-Have Skills:

• 10+ years of experience in Software QA / Test Automation
• Strong hands-on experience with Karate DSL / Karate Framework
• Strong API Testing experience using REST/SOAP APIs
• Experience with Java and automation framework development
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, XML, HTTP
• Experience with Selenium or other UI automation tools
• Strong experience in SQL / Database Testing
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps
• Experience with Git
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Excellent experience in test planning, test execution, defect management, and reporting

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop automated test cases using Karate DSL
• Build and maintain API automation frameworks
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
• Validate REST APIs, request/response payloads, headers, authentication, and database results
• Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Develop reusable test scripts and automation utilities
• Execute automated and manual testing as required
• Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA or similar tools
• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other QA engineers
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives
• Analyze test results and provide quality/status reports
• Support production validation and release activities
