Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to manage, optimize, and support enterprise-scale Oracle database environments across production and non-production systems. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Oracle SQL/PLSQL development, performance tuning, automation, CI/CD integration, and database architecture, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in large, complex enterprise initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
Overall, 10 years of experience required.
8+ years of experience implementing, administering, managing, and monitoring application databases in both production and non-production environments, ensuring data integrity and data security.
8+ years of advanced expertise in developing and optimizing Oracle SQL and PL/SQL code.
3+ years of experience in DB automation aligned with Enterprise CI/CD workflows, including working with automation orchestrators such as Jenkins or similar platforms.
8+ years of advanced knowledge and experience in monitoring, troubleshooting, and fine-tuning SQL and PL/SQL on Oracle databases (Oracle 11g/19c) in Solaris/Linux environments.
5+ years of hands-on experience using the Erwin Modeling Tool to create data models from scratch, including data modeling techniques such as star schema.
5+ years of experience developing tools using SQL, PL/SQL, and Linux shell scripting to support LDBA functions across large test and development database environments.
Experience applying best practices to create DDL, DML, SQL scripts, and shell scripts.
5+ years of hands-on experience working on large development projects using Agile methodology.
5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle APEX development.
8+ years of experience working on or leading large, complex initiatives involving performance tuning and optimization.
Education Requirement:
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or Management Information Systems.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
