IT Auditor

Description

We are looking for a skilled IT Auditor to join our team in Horsham, Pennsylvania. This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to play a critical role in ensuring compliance, implementing controls, and driving organizational projects forward. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on expertise in IT auditing and be comfortable bridging technical, financial, and business domains.

Responsibilities:
Develop and implement policies to meet compliance standards.
Manage cross-departmental tasks to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to align systems with compliance needs.
Lead and drive SOC2 implementation projects from inception to completion.
Perform remediation activities, documentation tasks, and control implementation.
Provide guidance to leadership on compliance expectations and processes.
Support defense contractor compliance needs and ensure adherence to ITAR regulations.
Conduct audits and assessments to identify gaps and recommend solutions.
Facilitate compliance during mergers and acquisitions, ensuring smooth transitions.

Requirements

Proven experience with SOC2 implementation from the ground up.
Ability to work independently and effectively communicate with leadership.
Strong knowledge of IT auditing frameworks, such as COBIT and ITGC.
Familiarity with ITAR regulations and defense contractor compliance.
Expertise in remediation, documentation, and control execution.
Background in compliance related to mergers and acquisitions.
Solid understanding of audit programs and findings.
Hands-on approach to bridging IT, business, and finance functions.
