Summary

We are hiring Business Analyst for remote position.

Role: Business Analyst
Location: Remote

The Client is seeking Business Analyst staff augmentation to support the creation, refinement, and documentation of business requirements for an internal software product utilized across the Client s customer portfolio. The Contractor will provide a qualified Business Analyst (BA) responsible for gathering requirements, documenting current state and future state workflows, mapping business processes, creating structured requirements documentation, and collaborating with technical and product stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment.
This engagement focuses exclusively on business analysis and requirements development. Software testing and quality assurance services may be added later as an optional add-on to support other staff augmentation work or the Technical Support Specialist (TSS) after requirements have been completed and technically built out.

The assigned BA must hold a recognized BA certification (IIBA ECBA/CCBA/CBAP/AAC/CBDA or PMI-PBA).

The Contractor shall provide a Business Analyst to perform the following activities:

Requirements Elicitation & Documentation
Conduct discovery sessions with Client stakeholders, Product team, TSS, and SMEs.
Document business requirements, functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Develop requirements documentation with sufficient granularity to support technical design, development, and downstream use by vendors.
Decompose the product ecosystem into epics, features, and story level detail based on cross team input.
Compare and reconcile data/functional needs across relevant tools.
Consolidate requirements across Client, SOVRA, Vendor, and internal program needs. Process Mapping & Analysis
Map current state processes and workflows across applicable portals, tools, and user roles.
Design future state workflows, including authentication flows, integrations, role based access, external user access considerations, and enhancements to existing tools.
Use appropriate documentation tools (e.g., Miro) to visualize process flows, decisions, and data sources.
