The ideal candidate will bring strong architectural expertise along with the ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders, enabling scalable data solutions that support advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI-driven initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and define the end-to-end migration strategy to Microsoft Fabric, ensuring a smooth transition from legacy data platforms
  • Architect and implement Lakehouse-based data solutions, leveraging modern data architecture principles
  • Design, review, and optimize data pipelines built on PySpark and Spark SQL
  • Develop and validate Power BI semantic models, ensuring high performance and data consistency
  • Enable advanced analytics by integrating machine learning and AI capabilities, including embedded ML within BI solutions
  • Support implementation and integration of Azure Machine Learning and MLOps frameworks
  • Establish and enforce data architecture standards, governance policies, and scalability best practices
  • Collaborate with BI teams and business leaders to communicate architectural decisions, trade-offs, and long-term strategy

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric
  • Deep understanding of Data Lake and Lakehouse architectures
  • Expertise in Apache Spark (PySpark and Spark SQL) for data processing and pipeline development
  • Proficiency in Power BI, including semantic modeling and performance optimization
  • Experience with Azure Machine Learning for building and deploying ML models
  • Knowledge of MLOps practices within Azure environments

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working on large-scale data platform transformations or migrations
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and influence senior leadership
  • Familiarity with BI, AI, and advanced analytics ecosystems
