In search of a Sr. Active Directory Engineer/Subject Matter Expert. The successful candidate will need the following technical experience: 10 + years of AD Engineering, DFS, DNS, experience managing sites & service as well as experience in large complicated environments with multiple forests and high number of domain controllers.

Description
Highly proficient in the design, engineering, test, document and support responsibilities for projects requiring Microsoft Active Directory (AD), AD Certificate Services (ADCS), AD Sites & Services (ADSS), DNS/DHCP, and AD Group Policies for server security compliance. Ensure all designs adhere to the corporate guidelines and specifications. Provide technical leadership in the design and engineering of MS Active Directory, ADCS, ADSS, DNS/DHCP, and AD Group Policy that meet the business needs within accepted corporate guidelines. Assess risks and recommend enhancements or alternatives.
Communicate comfortably to Management and clients, understand and react to the urgency of their work. Engineers are responsible for third level production support on a 24x7 basis and are responsible for carrying a phone/pager.

Required skills/experience:

  • 10 + years of AD Engineering, DFS & DNS
  • Experience managing sites & service
  • Experience in large complicated environments with multiple forests and high number of domain controllers.
  • Experience creating and managing Active Directory Group Policies
  • Experience building and configuring AD Certificate Services

Previous experience migrating Windows servers from one AD domain to another AD domain and resolving any issues
