Job Description
- Develop and manage the scope, budget, design and schedule of multiple plant rearrangement and production equipment installation projects, from cradle to grave. Responsibilities include project planning, design, bidding work to general contractors, building/executing and closing out the project. Projects can range from $5,000 to over $10 million.
- Design efforts include developing project requirements and overseeing preparation of engineering plans and specifications. Project managers collect data, review design specifications, obtain management acceptance, and oversee development of a completely engineered design package for contractor bidding.
- Design aspects are completed in collaboration with other staff engineers, contract consultants, and other internal stakeholders. The Project Manager is responsible for evaluating, selecting, and coordinating activities of external consultants, contractors, and in-house specialties to develop and implement corporate facilities projects and program requirements.
- Manage financial budgets and track costs as they are incurred throughout the project lifecycle. Provide accurate and timely cost and schedule tracking to all project stakeholders. Prepare spending forecasts, establish budgets, approve invoices, and manage change orders. Prepare and maintain a project schedule
- Oversee execution of construction projects to ensure plans and specifications are implemented correctly.
- On occasion, conduct major facility studies covering such recurring subjects as five (5) year plans, total energy generation, facility containment/contingency programs, building management systems, major material, and vendor studies, etc.
- Assure Company compliance with all federal, state and applicable local codes such as Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), National Fire Prevention Association (NFPA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), etc.
- Provide an interface with external suppliers and contractors in order to assure acceptable, cost-effective and schedule minded construction programs.

Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with remote work up to 50% of the time. In-person time may be greater as necessary to meet project needs.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, civil engineering, construction management, or another related technical discipline.
- 5-8 years of project management experience (for the candidate working out of Merrimack/Manchester Location) and or related experience in facilities management/operations. Nashua Location only requires 1-2 years of experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, Power Point
- Working knowledge of building infrastructure and support systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical distribution, and fire protection systems
- Experience with Project Management tools (e.g., Procore)
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Certified Project Management Professional.
Schedule: They work a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off, with 9 hour days every day other than the working Friday which is 8 hours so that it equals 80 over two weeks. Hybrid is three days on site for the long weeks and two days on site for the short weeks, so basically two days WFH per week.
