Job Title: EDI Consultant / EDI Analyst (5+ Years Experience)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced EDI Consultant with 5+ years of hands-on experience in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) implementations, integrations, and production support. The candidate should have strong expertise in EDI standards, mapping, trading partner onboarding, and B2B integrations across supply chain and finance domains.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and implement EDI integrations.
Work with EDI standards such as:

ANSI X12
EDIFACT
TRADACOMS (if applicable)

Develop and maintain EDI mappings using tools like:

IBM Sterling
SAP PI/PO
Seeburger
Gentran
BizTalk
Boomi

Configure and manage trading partner setups.
Monitor EDI transactions (850, 810, 856, 997, etc.).
Troubleshoot EDI failures and resolve mapping or communication issues.
Work with business teams (Supply Chain, Finance, Logistics) to gather requirements.
Perform EDI testing, validation, and certification with trading partners.
Support production incidents and provide RCA documentation.
Ensure compliance with business and regulatory standards.

MUST HAVE:

Experience in IBM Sterling with B2B experience.
• Hands-on EDI 204 implementation
• Hands-on EDI 210 invoice processing
• Understanding of:
• Accessorial charges
• Rate agreements
• Stop-off handling
• Fuel surcharge logic
• Experience integrating EDI into TMS

204/990/214/210 lifecycle
Multi-stop shipments
Accessorial handling
Invoice reconciliation logic

Strong Plus:

Ability to design canonical data model

Communication protocols
