GenAI Lead

Role: GenAI Lead 

Location: Remote

We are looking for a GenAI Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of Generative AI solutions. This role will lead AI initiatives end-to-end—from ideation and PoC to production—while remaining deeply hands-on with solution development and system integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and implementation of GenAI solutions and rapid PoCs aligned to business needs
• Hands-on development with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, agents, and fine-tuning
• Own the transition of PoCs to scalable, production-ready systems
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and data teams to define use cases and success metrics
• Evaluate and integrate GenAI frameworks, models, and cloud AI services
• Establish best practices for performance, security, and responsible AI usage
• Mentor and guide engineers on GenAI development

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with GenAI/LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, open-source models, etc.)
• Proficiency in Python and AI/ML frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face, etc.)
• Experience building and deploying AI PoCs and production systems
• Solid understanding of ML fundamentals, APIs, and cloud platforms (AWS/Google Cloud Platform/Azure)
• Ability to lead technically while remaining an individual contributor

Nice to Have

• Experience with vector databases, MLOps, and agent-based architectures
• Prior experience leading AI initiatives in an enterprise or startup environment
