We are seeking a high-caliber Quality Engineer / SDET Lead to define automation strategies and lead both manual and automated QA efforts. You will be responsible for architecting test frameworks, optimizing CI/CD integration, and guiding cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software within a complex microservices environment.
Technical Core Requirements
Expert Automation: Hands-on mastery of Playwright using both Java and JavaScript.
Framework Development: Proven experience building/maintaining automation frameworks across UI, API, and Microservices.
DevOps Integration: Deep experience integrating automated suites into Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
Test Management: Power user of JIRA for defect tracking, workflow coordination, and advanced QA reporting.
Domain Expertise: Prior experience in the Financial Services sector; experience with Discover or Trident is a significant plus.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Leadership: Define the automation roadmap and lead manual/automation teams in executing functional and regression testing.
Full-Stack Testing: Automate testing across diverse layers: Mobile, Browsers, Client-Server, and Containerized environments.
CI/CD Optimization: Analyze test failures within the pipeline and optimize execution for speed and reliability.
Metrics & Reporting: Develop comprehensive QA dashboards highlighting defect trends, test coverage, and software quality insights for stakeholders.
Collaboration: Partner with developers to integrate test code with application code, ensuring "Shift-Left" quality standards.
Qualifications
Strong background as a Lead QA or SDET.
Proficiency in designing optimized test scenarios from complex functional requirements.
Experience managing test data and environments for scalable automation.
Excellent Communication: Must be able to articulate technical risks to non-technical stakeholders.
