Product Owner – TechniPros (W2, Hybrid USA)
Type: W2 Contract (12+ months) | Location: Hybrid (2 days/week in local Deloitte offices, USA)
About the Opportunity
The Product Owner is accountable for one or more systems, leading a cross-functional product team to deliver business value for both internal and external clients. This role closely partners with the Product Manager and broader firm leadership to shape, communicate, and deliver on the product strategy and roadmap. The Product Owner manages prioritization, requirements, timelines, and success criteria, harnessing multidisciplinary expertise to guide execution and maximize value delivery.
Note: This is a HYBRID position requiring 2 in-office days at local Deloitte office per week. Travel costs are not reimbursable. No C2C - W2 candidates only.
Key Responsibilities
- Align product strategy with execution, maintaining the product roadmap and prioritizing the body of work for current and future delivery
- Manage system plans and artifacts, ensuring timely delivery against resource, stakeholder, timeline, and milestone requirements
- Lead, coach, and develop a matrixed team in pursuit of the product vision and team member growth
- Advise and collaborate with other product teams to maintain unified product strategy and progression
Must-Have Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, management information systems, computer science, or related field
- Proven experience in product ownership or management within financial services, client onboarding, or customer relationship systems
- Broad and deep knowledge of financial services concepts, particularly in client onboarding or customer relationship systems
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated analytical ability
- Proven leadership within matrixed teams, including task assignment, coaching, and mentoring
- Teamwork mindset with ability to influence stakeholders across functions
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience with Agile methodologies
- Robust understanding of full software development lifecycle
