Job Title: VibeOps Engineer
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated VibeOps Engineer to support mission-critical banking infrastructure through a modern AI-augmented operations model. This role combines Infrastructure Operations, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Platform Engineering, and AI-powered operational practices to improve reliability, accelerate incident resolution, and enhance operational efficiency across enterprise environments.
The ideal candidate will work at the intersection of enterprise infrastructure, AI-powered operational assistants, and legacy platforms, helping drive the next generation of intelligent operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and maintain highly available production infrastructure supporting critical banking operations.
- Utilize AI-powered operational tools and assistants to troubleshoot incidents, resolve issues, and streamline operational processes.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability across distributed and enterprise platforms.
- Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and problem management activities.
- Support change management, release management, disaster recovery, and business continuity initiatives.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure, Application Development, Cybersecurity, Risk, and Business teams.
- Identify opportunities to improve automation, operational efficiency, and platform reliability.
- Contribute to operational excellence initiatives and the evolution of AI-driven enterprise operations.
- Apply modern engineering practices to both cloud and legacy technology environments.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience in Infrastructure Operations, Systems Administration, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Platform Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Experience supporting highly available enterprise production environments.
- Hands-on expertise in one or more of the following:
- Linux/Unix Administration
- Windows Server Administration
- Cloud Infrastructure Operations (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
- Middleware Administration
- Enterprise Monitoring and Observability
- Infrastructure Automation
- Platform Engineering
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
- Understanding of Incident, Change, and Problem Management processes.
- Experience working in regulated enterprise environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Banking or Financial Services industry experience.
- Knowledge of banking operations including Payments, Treasury, Lending, Wealth Management, Securities, or Custody.
- Exposure to IBM Z/Mainframe technologies:
- z/OS
- CICS
- DB2
- IMS
- RACF
- JES
- SDSF
- Experience with AI-assisted operations, AIOps, Observability platforms, or Intelligent Automation solutions.
- Familiarity with DevOps, SRE, and Platform Engineering best practices.
