Summary

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Financials PPM/Projects Functional Consultant to serve as a PPM Lead supporting a public sector engagement. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Oracle Project Portfolio Management (PPM) with Grants Accounting experience, and the ability to lead functional activities, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure compliance with grant and financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the PPM Functional Lead for Oracle Cloud Financials Projects and Grants modules
  • Lead requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, and testing for:
    • Project Costing
    • Project Billing
    • Project Contracts
    • Grants Management / Grants Accounting
  • Configure project structures, funding, budgets, cost controls, revenue recognition, and billing rules
  • Support grant lifecycle management, including award setup, funding sources, compliance, and reporting
  • Collaborate with Finance, Grants, and Project stakeholders to align Oracle PPM solutions with business and regulatory needs
  • Provide guidance on best practices, controls, and compliance related to public sector and grant-funded projects
  • Support integrations with other Oracle Financials modules such as GL, AP, AR, and FA
  • Assist with UAT, issue resolution, documentation, and end-user training
  • Provide ongoing functional support and advisory services on a part-time basis

Required Qualifications

  • Strong functional experience with Oracle Cloud Financials PPM/Projects
  • Hands-on experience with Grants Accounting / Grants Management
  • Prior experience as a PPM Lead or Senior Functional Consultant
  • Solid understanding of project accounting, cost management, billing, and revenue recognition
  • Experience working with public sector, government, or grant-funded organizations
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently in a part-time consulting capacity
