We are looking for an experienced SAP Ariba Consultant to join our team and support across sourcing, supplier management, contracts, buying, invoicing, and supplier collaboration. This role is ideal for someone who can go beyond configuration and process execution, someone who can understand business problems, analyze root causes, work across stakeholders, and drive practical solutions in an enterprise procurement environment.
The consultant will work closely with business users, procurement teams, suppliers, integration teams, and technology stakeholders to support and enhance SAP Ariba capabilities across the source-to-pay landscape.
What you will do
You will be responsible for supporting, analyzing, and improving SAP Ariba processes across modules such as Strategic Sourcing, Contracts, Buying, Invoicing, Supplier Lifecycle and Performance, Ariba Network, Guided Buying, Guided Sourcing, and Cloud Integration Gateway.
You will help identify process gaps, investigate system issues, perform root cause analysis, recommend solutions, and support end-to-end resolution. The role requires a strong understanding of procurement business processes, system behavior, integrations, supplier collaboration, and user experience.
You will also partner with business and technical teams to translate procurement requirements into scalable solutions, support testing and deployments, document functional designs, and ensure that solutions align with enterprise procurement standards.
Responsibilities
- Support SAP Ariba solution areas across sourcing, contracts, supplier management, buying, invoicing, Ariba Network, Guided Buying, Guided Sourcing, SLP, and CIG.
- Analyze production issues, identify root causes, and coordinate resolution across business, technical, supplier, and integration teams.
- Work with procurement stakeholders to understand business needs and convert them into clear functional requirements.
- Support configuration, testing, defect management, user acceptance testing, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization.
- Troubleshoot integration issues between SAP Ariba, SAP ECC, Ariba Network, and related procurement platforms.
- Partner with suppliers and internal teams to resolve onboarding, transaction, catalog, PO, invoice, and network-related issues.
- Support process improvements across source-to-contract and procure-to-pay functions.
- Create clear documentation, including process flows, functional specifications, test scripts, issue analysis, and solution recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, finance, IT, integration, supplier enablement, and change management.
- Bring a consulting mindset to problem-solving, stakeholder communication, and delivery execution.
- What we are looking for
- We are looking for a consultant with hands-on SAP Ariba experience and a strong understanding of procurement operations. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing ambiguity, and solving issues that require both functional and technical analysis.
- You should have experience across multiple SAP Ariba modules and the ability to connect business process understanding with system behavior. You should be able to investigate issues independently, ask the right questions, identify patterns, and clearly communicate findings and solutions.
Required qualifications
- Strong experience with SAP Ariba in the areas of sourcing, contracts, buying, invoicing, supplier lifecycle management, supplier performance, Ariba Network, Guided Buying, Guided Sourcing, and CIG.
- Good understanding of source-to-pay and procure-to-pay business processes.
- Experience analyzing system, process, integration, and transaction issues.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and drive issues to closure.
- Experience working with business stakeholders, technical teams, and suppliers.
- Understanding of integration touchpoints between SAP Ariba and SAP ECC.
- Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.

- Experience in consulting, large-scale transformation programs, or enterprise procurement support environments.
- Familiarity with testing cycles, release management, incident management, and continuous improvement practices.
