Introduction:

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) Business Integrated Solutions Division (BISD) is looking for a skilled Business Analyst with VDOT experience to join the Business Analytics and Testing Support Team. The role involves working closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and ensure requirements are met through Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Responsibilities:

Act as the voice of the customer, understanding business processes and needs
Develop expertise in business applications and data management
Conduct Root Cause Analysis to identify system gaps
Diagram processes using BPMN 2.0 and data flow diagrams
Document user stories and acceptance criteria
Map user stories to technical designs
Assist in maintaining product backlog with a customer-first mindset
Perform Quality Analyst functions and User Acceptance Testing
