Job Title: SAP Data Migration & Cutover Lead
Duration: 3+ Months Contract
Location: Chilton, Wisconsin (Onsite)
Role Overview:
The Data Migration & Cutover Lead will serve as the primary onshore point of accountability for all data migration and cutover activities within an SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud rollout program. This individual will coordinate and guide both the internal project team and the consulting team, ensuring high-quality ETL execution from legacy systems into S/4HANA Public Cloud. The role demands strong leadership, stakeholder communication, and hands-on technical knowledge of SAP Data Migration tooling.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end data migration planning, execution, and cutover management for S/4HANA Public Cloud rollout projects across US plants
Coordinate and guide internal project stakeholders and external consulting resources throughout the migration lifecycle
Validate and govern ETL processes from legacy systems to S/4HANA Public Cloud, ensuring data integrity and completeness
Define, review, and validate relevancy rules for migration objects to ensure only relevant and clean data is migrated
Guide and supervise extraction and transformation activities performed in SAP Datasphere
Oversee and validate the load of migration objects into the SAP Data Migration Cockpit (LTMC/LTMOM) in S/4HANA Public Cloud
Develop and maintain the cutover plan, including go-live checklists, mock cutover exercises, and go-live execution coordination
Identify data quality risks and issues early, drive resolution with appropriate stakeholders
Act as the escalation point for migration-related issues during project execution and hypercare
Collaborate with functional leads, technical architects, and client data owners to ensure alignment on migration scope and approach
Required Qualifications:
8+ years of SAP project experience with a strong focus on data migration
Proven track record of leading data migration workstreams on multiple full-cycle SAP implementations or rollouts
Hands-on experience with SAP Data Migration Cockpit
Solid understanding of S/4HANA Public Cloud data model and migration constraints
Experience defining and validating data relevancy and filtering rules for migration objects
Strong expertise in ETL processes including extraction from legacy systems, data transformation, and load into SAP
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills able to interface confidently with client senior management
Experience leading and coordinating cross-functional and cross-geography teams
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with SAP Datasphere for data transformation and migration preparation
Familiarity with S/4HANA Public Cloud upgrade cycles and migration best practices
Experience with manufacturing domain migration objects: Material Master, BOM, Routing, Business Partner, Open Sales Orders
SAP certification in data migration or related area
Prior experience supporting plant-level rollouts within a global SAP template

Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
Proactive problem-solving approach and ability to work under tight cutover timelines
