Position Summary

This role is an individual contributor people-leader equivalent responsible for technical delivery, solution design, and execution oversight without direct people management.

What you will do:
  • Partners closely with product, architecture, QA, security, and operations teams to ensure high-quality, scalable, and compliant application delivery.
  • Work with fast paced delivery teams to execute on timelines.
  • Work closely with leader to communicate progress and challenges
  • Drive modernization initiatives and roll up your sleeves in design and code reviews

Required Qualifications

5+ years of application development experience in enterprise environments including:
  • Lead end to end complex technical deliveries
  • Act as primary technical liaison across Product, Analytics, QA and DevOps
  • Own risk identification, mitigation, and escalation
  • Partner with Enterprise/Platform Architecture to align solutions to standards
  • Lead design reviews and ensure adherence to coding, security, and integration standards
  • Drive modernization initiatives (framework upgrades, cloud migration, refactoring)
  • Hands-on expertise in modern application development (Java/Spring, APIs, Angular)
  • Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional technical deliveries
  • Deep understanding of SDLC, CI/CD, security, and production support
  • Experience handling projects in Agile environment
  • Ensure SDLC, security scans, audit, and regulatory requirements are met
  • Support/track roadmap execution and dependency management
  • Ability to bridge the gap between technical & non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications
  • Exposure to cloud-based platforms is highly preferred (i.e. OCP, Google Cloud Platform), Kubernetes specifically from a software development perspective
  • Capable of delivering on multiple competing priorities with little supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking ability
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills.

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$83,430.00 - $166,860.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
