StaffRight Associates is currently seeking a highly skilled Endpoint Systems Engineer to join our client’s engineering team in Buffalo, NY. This is a critical contract opportunity designed for a technical expert who excels in designing, automating, and optimizing enterprise-grade endpoint solutions within complex Windows environments.
In this role, you will serve as a primary architect for application lifecycle management. You will be responsible for engineering sophisticated packaging and deployment pipelines using SCCM, PowerShell, and PSADT. Beyond day-to-day operations, you will act as a strategic partner to infrastructure teams, driving modern management initiatives and supporting large-scale Intune migration strategies. This position offers a sophisticated technical environment for an engineer who thrives on solving deployment failures, standardizing frameworks, and mentoring junior talent.
Key Responsibilities:
Engineering & Automation: Design and maintain scalable deployment pipelines for Windows 10/11 and Windows Server environments, utilizing PowerShell to automate installations, upgrades, and patching.
Modern Management: Partner with cross-functional teams to optimize SCCM configurations and execute Intune migration initiatives.
Infrastructure Troubleshooting: Resolve high-level application deployment failures, dependency conflicts, and packaging challenges across the enterprise.
Standards & Documentation: Establish packaging standards, create automated task sequences, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation to ensure operational excellence.
Collaboration & Leadership: Work alongside security and operations teams to ensure compliant configurations while providing mentorship and code reviews for automation scripts.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years of combined professional experience and higher education in systems design, management, or architecture.
Proven expertise in enterprise application packaging using SCCM, PowerShell, and PSADT.
Deep technical proficiency in Windows 10/11 and Windows Server environments.
Strong analytical skills with a background in server/client and virtual technologies.
Preferred: A Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in complex infrastructure design or data management.
