Senior SOC Analyst

Job Summary

Under general supervision, this role plans and manages IT security operations, focusing on Information Security. The position is responsible for developing and enforcing security policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to security alerts using Microsoft Sentinel and Microsoft Defender

• Investigate security incidents using Threat Explorer and Advanced Hunting

• Develop and improve Sentinel workflows and workbooks to automate responses

• Configure Exchange transport rules for security events

• Manage Defender Tenant Block/Allow lists

• Provide forensic data to support investigations

Required Skills & Experience

• Microsoft Defender for Identity (Threat Explorer, Tenant Block/Allow Lists, Incidents & Alerts) 3+ years

• Microsoft Active Directory (On-Premises) 3+ years

• Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) 3+ years

• Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM & investigations) 2+ years

• Knowledge of Kusto Query Language (KQL) 1+ year (Highly Preferred)
