Summary

Job Description:

Quevera is seeking a highly skilled Splunk Engineer with an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph to support mission-critical programs in Laurel, Maryland. In this role, you will work closely with Data Analytics, Tools, and Infrastructure teams to develop and maintain Splunk-based solutions that support enterprise operations and customer mission requirements.

Working alongside a collaborative engineering team, you will create and enhance Splunk dashboards, develop Search Processing Language (SPL) queries, analyze data, and deliver customer-focused reporting solutions. You'll collaborate directly with customers to gather requirements, refine deliverables, and provide data-driven insights that support critical national security missions.

As an Splunk Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to leverage advanced Splunk capabilities, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and deliver innovative analytics solutions in a dynamic, mission-focused environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Data Analytics team to support Tools and Infrastructure initiatives.
  • Design, develop, and maintain Splunk dashboards that provide meaningful operational and analytical insights.
  • Develop and optimize Splunk Search Processing Language (SPL) queries to support reporting, monitoring, and data analysis.
  • Analyze data and support data processing activities to improve reporting accuracy and operational effectiveness.
  • Gather and define customer requirements through direct interaction with stakeholders.
  • Develop polished, high-visibility customer deliverables and reporting solutions.
  • Incorporate customer feedback to continuously improve dashboards, reports, and deliverables.
  • Provide customer support and technical assistance related to Splunk dashboards and reporting capabilities.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and maintainable analytics solutions.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required.
  • Experience maintaining and supporting Splunk dashboards.
  • Experience with data analysis and data processing.
  • Advanced experience with front-end Splunk, including extensive knowledge of Splunk Search Processing Language (SPL).
  • Experience defining requirements through customer interactions.
  • Experience creating polished, high-visibility customer deliverables.
  • Experience incorporating customer feedback into deliverables and reporting solutions.
  • Experience working directly with customers to provide technical support and assistance.
  • Experience with Linux/Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) version 8 and/or 9.

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of front-end Splunk.
  • Knowledge of COMSEC.
  • Experience with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes.
  • Experience working with MongoDB.
