Java AWS Developer

Role: Java AWS Developer (ONLY W2)

Location: Columbus, OH , Plano, TX & New Jersey

Exp: 12+ Years


1. Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 4+ years of applied experience.

2. Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.

3. Advanced proficiency in developing, debugging, and maintaining code using Java, JMS, JDBC, Kafka, Spring, Spring Boot, Zuul, Eureka, REST API, SQL, and Unix shell scripting.

4. Strong programming skills in Java, JUnit, Cucumber, Fitnesse, Apache Kafka, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Maven, Jenkins, IntelliJ, and similar tools.

5. Proficiency in observability tools like Splunk, Datadog, Dynatrace, and Grafana.

6. Demonstrated experience in cloud technologies such as AWS, Kubernetes, EKS, ECS, Lambda, Docker, and Helm.

7. Experience with unit testing, automated testing, and test-driven development concepts.

8. Strong grasp of application resilience and security principles.

9. Comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle and CI/CD pipelines.

10. Demonstrated experience working in an agile environment on a Scrum team.

11. Initiative and creativity in refining testing processes and improving quality.

12. Excellent cross-functional communication skills, both formal and informal. Develop and maintain both front-end and back-end applications. Design user interfaces and ensure good user experience. Build and manage server-side logic and APIs. Work with databases to store and retrieve data. Integrate front-end with back-end systems. Java, JMS, JDBC, Kafka, Spring, Spring Boot.
