We are seeking an experienced Controls Engineer responsible for the design, maintenance, modification, and performance optimization of control systems supporting plant systems
Responsibilities:
The position requires strong technical discipline, configuration control adherence, and collaboration with operations, design, and engineering teams.
Understanding of the assigned manufacturing processes to support maintenance and operations troubleshooting
Troubleshooting, maintenance, and code improvements to support business needs
PLC troubleshooting, maintenance, and code improvements to support business needs
Management of PLC software licenses and associated software configuration management
Management of Process historian hardware, software, and tags
Creation, modification, support of industrial controls including hardware specification and loop sheet and electrical schematic creation and maintenance
Provide operational oversight and training support for operators and maintenance of control systems
Support 24/7 manufacturing operation, including emergency response, and scheduled projects
Design, configure, and maintain PLC and/or DCS-based control systems
Develop and tune PID control loops for turbine and feedwater systems
Support turbine control, condensate systems, circulating water, service water, and auxiliary systems
Maintain alarm setpoints and HMI configurations
Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related field
5+ years of industrial control systems experience
Experience with PLC or DCS platforms
Experience with Oil and Gas or any Energy domain is a plus.
