Job Title: Research And Development Technician

Job Location: Miramar, FL

Job Type: Contract

Job Overview:

Essential Functions:

Performs conduct procedures in strict compliance to the study protocol, Good Clinical.
Practice standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), QA/QC procedures, OSH guidelines and other state and local regulations as applicable.
Provides assistance in the execution of clinical trials.
Ensures the well-being and safety of study participants.
Provides administrative and operational support.

Qualifications:

Education A high school diploma or G.E.D. and.
Phlebotomist certification is required.

Experienc:

One to two (1-2) years of experience in a clinical environment
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (Other pertinent qualifications, skills, or knowledge necessary to perform the essential functions of the job).
Able to obtain vital signs and perform ECGs.
Able to perform telemetry and insert intravenous catheters, or willing to learn.
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Able to work independently and handle multiple competing priorities.
Able to work with tight deadlines.
Able to function independently within a team environment.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills and a strong attention to detail
Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Work Environment:

Predominantly clinical conduct environment.
Non-supervisory, non-managerial.
