We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Engineering Manager to join our Manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process and ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently. This is a permanent role that requires a deep understanding of manufacturing engineering, quality assurance, and process improvement. With a strong emphasis on airfoil design and manufacturing processes, this role will require a candidate with a robust engineering background and a passion for innovation and problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage all aspects of the manufacturing process, ensuring that production is cost-effective and timely.
2. Develop and implement manufacturing strategies that align with the company's business goals.
3. Lead the engineering team in the design and development of manufacturing processes, focusing on airfoil design and manufacturing.
4. Implement and manage quality assurance programs to ensure that production meets all standards and regulations.
5. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
6. Collaborate with other departments, such as supply chain and product development, to optimize operations.
7. Ensure that all safety regulations are adhered to, promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
8. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
9. Manage project timelines and resources, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree or equivalent is preferred.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in a leadership role.
3. Profound knowledge of airfoil design and manufacturing processes.
4. Strong understanding of quality assurance and process improvement methodologies.
5. Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
6. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with various departments.
8. Proficiency in using engineering software and tools.
9. Certification in Project Management or Lean Manufacturing would be an added advantage.
