Job Description

Overview

Seeking a Workday Test Analyst to support ongoing Workday enhancement, implementation, and optimization initiatives. This individual will focus primarily on test execution, validation, defect tracking, and user acceptance support across Workday HCM and related modules. This is a hands-on testing role best suited for someone with Workday functional knowledge and prior experience executing test scenarios in enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

  • Execute functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing for Workday enhancements and releases
  • Review existing test scripts, test cases, and business requirements to validate expected system behavior
  • Document test results, identify defects, and coordinate issue resolution with business and technical teams
  • Support Workday releases, patches, and system upgrades through comprehensive testing efforts
  • Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Benefits, and other business stakeholders during testing cycles
  • Assist with defect triage, retesting, and validation of fixes
  • Participate in test planning sessions and provide testing status updates

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of QA, UAT, or functional testing experience
  • 2+ years of Workday experience supporting HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, or related modules
  • Experience executing test scripts and documenting testing results
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and defect management processes
  • Experience working directly with business stakeholders during UAT cycles
  • Strong communication and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Workday implementation or optimization project experience
  • Experience testing Workday integrations
  • Exposure to JIRA, Azure DevOps, HP ALM, or similar testing tools
  • Prior HRIS or Workday support experience
