Summary

Role: US IT Recruiter

Location: Jersey City, NJ/Reston, VA

We are seeking a skilled US IT Recruiter to join our talent acquisition team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the US IT job market, experience sourcing and placing IT professionals, and knowledge of US employment practices, visa types, and tax terms. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying top technical talent and guiding them through the hiring process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for IT roles: sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
  • Utilize multiple sourcing channels: job boards, LinkedIn, GitHub, Boolean search, referrals, and networking events.
  • Screen candidates for technical fit, culture fit, and US work authorization.
  • Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Maintain accurate candidate data in the Applicapp Tracking System (ATS).
  • Stay updated on US IT salary trends, market demands, and emerging technologies.
  • Ensure complience with US labor laws, company policies, and equal opportunity standards.
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline for current and future IT needs.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of US IT roles, technologies, and skill sets.
  • Familiarity with US work visas (H1B, OPT, CPT, , etc.) and tax terms (W2, C2C, 1099).
  • Proficiency with ATS platforms and recruiting tools.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-pacd, target-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience recruiting for specific IT domains: AI, cloud, data science, cybersecurity, DevOps, etc.
  • Experience with high-volume recruiting or agency settings.
  • Knowledge of US regional IT markets
  • Familiarity with remote recruiting and virtual collaboration tools.
