Job Title: Technology Program Manager
Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid - 2/week)
Duration: 9+ Months
Xoriant reasonably expects the pay rate for this position to be within the following range: $80/hr-$90/hr/.
Summary:
We are seeking a Technology Program Manager with strong experience delivering complex technical programs across multiple engineering teams. This role will lead cross-platform initiatives across Finance, HR, Legal, and Digital Workplace portfolios, aligning architecture, engineering dependencies, and program execution to deliver strategic digital transformation initiatives at enterprise scale.
Role:
5-8 years experience delivering large-scale technology programs across multiple engineering teams.
Demonstrated understanding of distributed systems, APIs, cloud platforms, or enterprise architecture.
Oracle Cloud experience.
Finance Domain is important.
Experience operating in Agile delivery environments (Scrum, SAFe, or equivalent) across multiple teams.
Certifications such as PMP, SAFe- SPC, RTE, or cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
Key Responsibilities
Agile Delivery & Facilitation
- Lead 2 3 Agile teams through ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives)
- Coach teams on Agile best practices and metrics (velocity, burndown, backlog health) using Jira/Confluence
- Facilitate Scrum of Scrums and coordinate across Agile Release Trains (ARTs)
- Drive delivery of complex, enterprise-scale initiatives in a hybrid Agile environment
- Use data analysis and modelling to uncover insights and support decision-making
Project, Program, & Portfolio Execution
- Oversee the full technology development lifecycle (scope, schedule, change, risk, vendor, and procurement)
- Proactively manage dependencies, risks, and cross-team coordination
- Align technical execution with strategic business objectives
- Identify and manage cross-platform architecture dependencies, system integrations, and technical delivery risks across multiple engineering teams.
- Partner closely with architects and engineering leaders to ensure system design, platform capabilities, and delivery timelines remain aligned.
- Support vendor management and third-party integrations
- Collaborate with Program/Portfolio Managers to ensure on-time, on-budget, and within-scope delivery.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Engage with Finance, HR, Legal, and D&A stakeholders to ensure transparency, alignment, and business readiness
- Prepare and present updates to PMO leaders, DIO executives, and lead steering committees
- Prepare and manage communication plans, facilitate decision-making, and resolve conflicts
Governance & Reporting
- Monitor and report program health, milestones, risks, and resource needs using PMO tools/templates
- Provide executive-level visibility into program progress, technical risks, and dependency management through structured reporting and delivery dashboards
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, standards, and documentation practices
- Contribute to progress reporting, risk mitigation, and stakeholder satisfaction initiatives
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience orchestrating large-scale technical programs by aligning architecture, engineering dependencies, and delivery across multiple teams and platforms.
- Strong technical fluency in distributed systems, APIs, enterprise integrations, and cloud-based platforms to effectively manage system complexity and technical trade-offs.
- Experience managing complex cross-team dependencies, technical risks, and integration challenges across enterprise systems.
- Ability to partner closely with engineering leaders, architects, and product managers to translate technical strategy into executable delivery plans.
- Skilled in driving program execution through clear milestones, dependency mapping, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with experience using program metrics, delivery dashboards, and data insights to support decision-making.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical programs to both engineering teams and executive leadership.
- Hands-on experience with program delivery tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, and Agile reporting frameworks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical field.
- 8+ years experience delivering large-scale technology programs across multiple engineering teams.
- Demonstrated understanding of distributed systems, APIs, cloud platforms, or enterprise architecture.
- Experience operating in Agile delivery environments (Scrum, SAFe, or equivalent) across multiple teams.
- Experience delivering enterprise-scale digital platforms, data platforms, or AI-enabled systems.
- Technical background in software engineering, systems architecture, or infrastructure platforms.
- Certifications such as PMP, SAFe- SPC, RTE, or cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
