Security Analyst

Description

We are seeking two Cybersecurity Controls Analysts with a strong foundation in information security, GRC, and financial services to support ongoing governance, control execution, and application-level risk validation within the Information Protection Governance organization. These roles will replace two existing contingent workers reaching tenure and will be responsible for executing cybersecurity controls with precision, consistency, and strong analytical rigor. The ideal candidates are self-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable following procedures to a T, while also communicating effectively with application owners, managers, engineers, and architects. Key Responsibilities Execute cybersecurity governance controls across 15-20 assigned applications Identify assets tied to each application and validate compliance with internal security policies Review evidence and reporting to determine whether applications meet required control expectations Engage with application owners and delegates to clarify evidence, gather missing information, and support remediation planning Document findings, status, and remediation paths within Jira Use Excel to analyze data, track control status, and manage evidence (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros, etc.) Collaborate with team members, engineers, architects, and mid-level management to ensure accurate and timely control execution Maintain clear, professional communication across all stakeholders Support governance processes as workstreams evolve, including potential future consolidation efforts

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $50.00/hr.
