TS/SCI Position
We are seeking an Expert Systems Engineer to provide high-level technical leadership in support of complex geospatial intelligence systems across the National System of Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG), Allied System of Geospatial-Intelligence (ASG), and other federal partners. This individual will support the Government in applying a multi-disciplinary systems engineering approach to requirements development, solution design, integration, testing, resiliency, and lifecycle management for enterprise-scale mission systems.

Duties:

Support the Government in systems engineering efforts across large-scale GEOINT mission environments.

Translate mission needs into technical requirements and system capabilities.

Evaluate and improve system architectures, workflows, and cloud-based services.

Provide technical recommendations on solution designs and emerging technologies.

Perform requirements analysis, traceability, and allocation to architecture components.

Support systems integration, verification, validation, and performance engineering activities.

Lead or support:
-
Contribute to strategic planning, risk management, interface design, and project execution.

Provide expert guidance on aligning mission vision, strategy, and technical capabilities.

Coordinate engineering efforts across organizational and agency boundaries.

Mentor and oversee junior and senior systems engineering staff.

Apply knowledge of the current NSG/ASG and NRO enterprise environments.
Required Skills and Experience:

18 yrs experience

Master's degree or higher in Systems Engineering or in related technical or scientific fields such as engineering, physics, mathematics, operations research, engineering management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program, or equivalent Expert level experience as a Systems Engineer.

Expert-level working experience in government or industry in relevant work areas including: DoD/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, PPBES Process or system engineering of large complex System of Systems or Service Oriented Architecture/Cloud environments.

Experience with and strong understanding of systems engineering lifecycle.
Desired:

Doctorate in Engineering, Computer Science, Imagery Analysis, or related STEM degree program.

Expert knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering, processes, tools and languages.

Expert knowledge of Software Development Frameworks.

INCOSE Certified System Engineering Professional (CSEP) certification.

Documented expert experience in the field of geospatial intelligence.
