Role: User Experience and Interaction Design (UX/ID)
Location: Sacramento, CA
Duration: Long Term
Mandatory Qualifications
The UX/ID must have a minimum of five consecutive years of experience providing user experience and interaction designer services. This experience must include:
· User research such as conducting user interviews, surveys, and observations to understand user needs and behaviors.
· Designing user flows and interaction patterns, mapping out user journeys and defining interaction patterns for clarity and usability.
· Creating interactive prototypes to test and refine user interactions.
· Designing to address specific needs of organization.
· Usability Testing: Testing prototypes with real users to gather feedback and identify usability issues.
· Collaborating with teams and reporting to Project Manager.
· Ensuring the design vision is implemented effectively.
· Designing interactions that are inclusive and meet accessibility standards, ensuring usability for all users.
The UX/ID must have a minimum of three years of experience providing user experience and interaction designer services to a State department, federal, state, local or public agency.
the UX/ID must possess a bachelor’s degree
Desired Qualifications
Two or more consecutive years of experience in the last 10 years providing user experience and interaction designer consultative services to a State department using Agile methodology.
