Job Summary

To be responsible for managing technology in projects and providing technical guidance / solutions for work completion

Key Responsibilities

Configure, build, and maintain Epic Resolute Professional Billing (PB) functionality
Support provider billing, charge capture, claims creation, and remittance workflows
Design and maintain rules related to fees, modifiers, payer rules, and billing edits
Revenue Cycle & Workflow Analysis
Analyze end to end professional billing workflows and translate business requirements into Epic solutions
Collaborate with billing operations, coding, compliance, and finance teams
Support workflow optimization and issue prevention initiatives
Testing & Go Live Support
Develop and execute unit, integration, regression, and UAT test scripts
Validate new builds, payer changes, upgrades, and revenue cycle enhancements
Provide at the elbow support during go lives and major upgrades
Support & Maintenance
Provide Tier 2/3 support for Epic PB issues and perform root cause analysis
Manage break fix tickets, change requests, and system maintenance
Participate in on call and after hours support rotations (as required)
Documentation & Compliance
Maintain system build documentation, workflows, specifications, and test evidence
Ensure compliance with billing regulations, payer requirements, and HIPAA standards
Support audits and regulatory reporting needs

Skill Requirements

Configure, build, and maintain Epic Beaker CP (Clinical Pathology) and/or AP (Anatomic Pathology) modules
Maintain test compendia, specimen workflows, result routing, and reporting structures
Design and optimize order entry, accessioning, resulting, billing, and interfaces with Epic Orders, Bridges, and Resolute
EPIC Beaker Certification Required
