Job Title: DataCenter Engineer
Location: Itasca, Illinois (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are seeking individuals to join our team dedicated to the design, build, operation, and continuity of critical physical data center environments. Our team plays an integral part in ensuring secure, highly available, and resilient infrastructure support for essential banking operations and applications.
Responsibilities:
- Deploy server and network technology within data centers, ensuring accurate installation and connectivity.
- Perform physical data center operations including rack-and-stack, structured copper and fiber cabling installation, hardware break-fix, and asset management.
- Operate within formal change, incident, and access management processes in a regulated environment.
- Collaborate closely with internal engineering teams, vendors, and remote hands to support 24x7 production data center rooms.
Required:
- Direct experience with physical data center operations: rack-and-stack, structured copper and fiber cabling, hardware break-fix, and asset management.
- Solid understanding of data center power, cooling, and physical security controls.
- Experience operating in enterprise or regulated environments, with adherence to strict change and security protocols.
- Ability to document work, communicate effectively, and align with team standards in collaborative, multi-team settings.
