Position Overview
Seeking an Infrastructure Engineer / Technology Specialist with 5–8 years of experience to design, build, and operate full-stack infrastructure solutions on the Microsoft Azure Cloud platform. The role focuses on environment provisioning, automated configuration management, and production runtime support for both containerized microservices and modernized legacy environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Azure Core Infrastructure Engineering: Design and manage highly available Azure landing zones and network fabrics, explicitly provisioning VNets, Virtual Machines (VMs), Azure Storage accounts, Load Balancers, Network Security Groups (NSGs), and IAM/RBAC access matrices.
* Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Architect, write, and maintain production-ready Terraform configurations. Manage nested modules, remote state files, and strict environment segregation logic across testing and production layers.
* CI/CD Pipeline Integration: Integrate declarative Terraform scripts directly into automated CI/CD deployment channels using Azure DevOps or related automation platforms.
* Environment Provisioning & Operations: Drive day-to-day configuration management, environment baseline maintenance, and continuous delivery pipelines to support active development teams.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with application developers and operations groups to validate platform readiness, resolve system bottlenecks, and enforce network security parameters.
Required Skillset
* Experience: 5–8 years of professional enterprise experience in IT Service, Support, Operations, and Cloud Infrastructure engineering.
* Core Azure Networking & Compute: Expert hands-on familiarity implementing core Azure infrastructure resources (VNets, peering, VMs, Storage Blob/File systems, Load Balancers, and Firewalls/NSGs).
* Terraform Automation: Advanced capability scripting via Terraform, covering state lock configurations, parameterized module creation, and automated workspace provisioning.
* CI/CD & DevOps Delivery: Solid functional background establishing pipeline controls for continuous environment delivery, validation testing, and deployment.
