We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Systems & Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure, high-performance IT environments. This role requires a well-rounded professional with deep expertise in both systems and network administration, supporting mission-critical infrastructure across government, defense, or large enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with hybrid cloud, virtualization, and advanced networking technologies.

• Design, deploy, and manage enterprise-scale network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet), routers (Cisco/Juniper), and switches
• Administer and maintain Windows and Linux server environments, along with VMware vSphere (ESXi/vCenter) and Microsoft Azure IaaS
• Implement and manage Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutions using Active Directory, Entra ID, Group Policies, and Conditional Access
• Oversee Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive
• Monitor system performance, network availability, and uptime; proactively troubleshoot and optimize infrastructure
• Enforce network security best practices, including ACLs, firewall configurations, IDS/IPS, and encryption protocols
• Lead and support key IT initiatives such as network migrations, system upgrades, VDI deployments, cloud migrations, and security compliance programs
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base materials
• Ensure compliance with DoD, NIST, STIGs, RMF, ITIL v4, and other regulatory frameworks

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in systems and network administration within government, defense, or large enterprise environments
• Strong hands-on expertise in:
  • VMware (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter)
  • Microsoft Azure (IaaS)
  • Windows Server & Linux environments
  • Cisco/Juniper networking technologies
  • Microsoft 365 ecosystem
• Proven experience in network architecture, virtualization, cloud migrations, and hybrid identity solutions
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCSP, ITIL v4, CompTIA Security+, AWS Cloud Practitioner, or AWS SysOps Administrator
• Proficiency in automation and scripting (PowerShell, Bash)
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, project management, and communication skills
