Looking for Senior Consultant - VMware vSAN - (Remote Role)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant with strong VMware vSAN expertise to design, implement, administer, and optimize hyper-converged infrastructure environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, vSAN, ESXi, and related virtualization technologies, supporting enterprise-scale infrastructure and cloud initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage VMware vSAN and vSphere environments.
• Administer and troubleshoot ESXi hosts, clusters, and virtual machines.
• Perform vSAN configuration, storage policy management, and performance tuning.
• Lead infrastructure migrations, upgrades, and capacity planning activities.
• Monitor system health, availability, and ensure high-performance operations.
• Implement disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity solutions.
• Collaborate with architecture, security, and application teams on infrastructure projects.
• Prepare technical documentation, best practices, and operational procedures.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with VMware vSAN, vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter Server.
• Knowledge of storage technologies, SAN/NAS, and hyper-converged infrastructure.
• Experience with VMware HA, DRS, Storage Policies, and Lifecycle Manager.
• Understanding of networking concepts including VLANs, DNS, TCP/IP, and load balancing.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation and monitoring tools.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• VMware certifications such as VCP, VCAP, or VCDX.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).

Exposure to NSX, SRM, and enterprise backup solutions
