Role : Quality Assurance Tester
Location : Bellevue, WA (2x a week)
Role Overview
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer who takes ownership of delivering high-quality outcomes across complex enterprise systems and integrations. You’ll help shape test approaches, apply sound judgment in balancing automation and manual testing, and ensure solutions are thoroughly validated and usable by business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
• Contribute to and help evolve testing approaches across functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
• Apply sound judgment in selecting automation vs. manual testing approaches, and develop and maintain automated test suites to expand coverage over time
• Test integrations built on platforms like MuleSoft and other iPaaS solutions, including API flows, data mappings, and error handling.
• Validate end-to-end data integrity across connected financial systems.
• Support and facilitate UAT by developing clear test plans, enabling finance users to execute testing independently while tracking issues and translating findings for business stakeholders.
• Document defects with root cause analysis and clear reproduction steps.
• Communicate risk and quality status proactively, working effectively with limited guidance.
Required Qualifications
• 5+ year experience in QA/testing within enterprise or ERP systems (D365 preferred).
• Strong understanding of test case design, execution, and defect tracking.
• Experience with MuleSoft or similar integration platforms as a service.
• Proven track record building automated test frameworks.
• Experience testing integrations, APIs, and data-intensive systems.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving ability.
• Experience designing UAT programs for non-technical users.
